ACTION E4T29B: CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

CONCESIONARIA APARCAMIENTO LA FE S.A. is part of the IVACE aid programme for the installation of recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles, in order to comply with international commitments in terms of energy saving, diversification and respect for the environment.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIONS

The program aims to promote the implementation of recharging stations for electric vehicles. A recharging station is considered to be the set of elements required to connect the electric vehicle to the fixed electrical installation, which is necessary to carry out and manage the charging of its batteries. These stations may include one or more specific electric vehicle parking spaces for recharging (recharging point).

In these actions, the following types of projects are differentiated

Publicly accessible quick charging stations for electric vehicles (Type 1).
Public access rapid recharging stations are considered to be those with an electrical power of 50kW (DC) and 44 kW (AC), which are used exclusively for recharging electric vehicles, are accessible by any user, are not for private use and are equipped with the corresponding system for connecting the vehicle to the electrical network for charging and management.
Publicly accessible semi-fast charging stations for electric vehicles (Type 2).
Publicly accessible semi-fast charging stations are those with an available electrical power of over 20 kW in direct or alternating current, which are used exclusively for recharging electric vehicles, are accessible to any user, are not for private use and are equipped with the corresponding system for connecting the vehicle to the electricity grid for charging and management.
According to IVACE Energía’s estimates, the annual economic saving in electricity compared to a vehicle that uses conventional fuel is around 60%. Thus, with 2.5 euros, an electric vehicle travels 100 km, and if the recharge is done at night it is reduced to one euro. Traveling the same distance with diesel fuel costs approximately 5.5 euros.

It should be noted that transport is the largest consumer of energy in the Valencian Community. It concentrates 40% of all the energy consumed in our territory, with the aggravating factor that, in its great majority, it uses oil derivatives as an energy source, which are the cause of most of the contaminating gases.

For this reason, the aim is to facilitate the transition to a new type of more sustainable mobility in which forms of transport that do not depend on oil derivatives take centre stage.

Approved by Resolution 28 October 2019 of the General Director of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), which calls for aid for the installation of recharging infrastructures for electric vehicles, to be charged to the budget for the 2019 financial year.
